- Student Immigration & Compliance Services

We are seeking a Student Immigration Advisor to undertake a key role within the Student Immigration & Compliance Services team by undertaking specialist casework and providing support and guidance to students and staff on a range of immigration matters.

Within this role, you will support students in adhering to immigration requirements, support staff to work within the immigration rules and protect the University’s Student Visa sponsor license, with a focus on maintaining a low visa refusal rate.

This is a critical role, requiring established specialist and technical immigration knowledge to upskill colleagues and safeguard the university.

To be successful, you will have experience of advising students and staff on a wide range of immigration issues and in maintaining effective casework records in accordance with the OISC regulations.   You will also have experience of working in the area of Student Route visa compliance within the education sector (including processing CAS statements).  In addition, you will have excellent communication and problem solving skills to effectively influence and negotiate.

Only nationals of the EEA or Switzerland or who have current Indefinite Leave to enter or Remain will be approved to handle BRPs as part of ACL site operations. If you do not fall into this category, unfortunately we cannot consider your application.
