We require a dedicated and motivational team member for the role of Student Experience Diversity and Inclusion Officer (Ambition Scholars and Belonging).
If you have a strong desire to assist students in achieving their full potential and providing them with an exceptional experience, and can establish productive relationships to achieve shared objectives, the role may be perfect for you. You will be in charge of coordinating the implementation of The Law Family Ambition Programme’s aspects, supporting Ambition Programme scholars transition into The University of Sheffield and creating a feeling of belonging for such students. You will work with teams throughout the University to deliver a range of activities to help our students succeed.
You will play an essential part in welcoming and fostering a sense of belonging for a constantly growing community, through inclusion events, integration projects, and widening participation initiatives. Activities include:
- The Believe, No Belief and Religious Life Centre
- Global Campus
- Lived experiences community programmes
- Race Equality and Sexual Consent Awareness sessions
- Sheffield Mentors
- Welcome and Induction Network
