Position Available: Student Experience Advisor

We’re seeking a Student Experience Advisor to enhance student journeys by providing expert, non-academic support. You will primarily engage with students at our Sydney campus, offering in-person and online guidance. Your role is crucial in shaping a supportive and enriching student environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Experience:

– Offer prompt and accurate administrative guidance to international students via front desk and digital platforms like email and Zendesk.
– Serve as the primary contact for non-academic inquiries, while maintaining detailed case records.
– Manage tuition fee inquiries and issue official student documentation.
– Facilitate effective student communications and contribute creatively to enhance retention and satisfaction.

  • Campus Operations:

– Ensure campus facilities meet international standards for an optimal learning environment.
– Organize reception and event logistics, ensuring compliance with classroom capacity guidelines.
– Contribute to campus safety as a fire warden or first aid responder.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • At least one year of experience in student services, ideally with international engagement.
  • Diploma or higher qualification is preferable.
  • Competence in using student management systems and CRM tools, with Zendesk being an advantage.
  • Knowledge of international education frameworks like the National Code of Practice is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse cultural communities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • A positive, creative mindset aimed at continually improving the international student experience.
