About the Role
We are inviting applications for the position of Student Experience Advisor. This crucial role involves offering expert guidance and non-academic support to enhance our students’ educational journeys, both on campus and online. Based at our Sydney campus, you will be the go-to person for various student inquiries, thus significantly contributing to their overall experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Experience:
– Provide timely and precise advice to students on administrative matters both face-to-face and via online platforms (email/Zendesk).
– Act as the primary contact for all non-academic student concerns.
– Manage student inquiries effectively and maintain detailed records.
– Assist with tuition fee processes and issuing student IDs and official documents.
– Facilitate student communications and play an active role in improving student experience and retention.
- Campus Operations:
– Ensure campuses are well-equipped and maintain a conducive learning environment.
– Help with creating reception and event schedules and ensure classroom compliance.
– Participate in fire warden and first-aid duties.
Education, Experience, and Skills
- At least one year of experience in student services is required.
- A Diploma qualification or higher is preferred.
- Experience with student management systems and CRM tools (such as Zendesk) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the Higher Education Standards Framework and the National Code for Overseas Students is an advantage.
- Competence in engaging diverse groups through strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- A creative and proactive approach is essential for improving student experiences.
