About the Job
As a Student Education & Experience Officer, you will be a crucial member of our team, supporting and improving student continuation, retention, and engagement. You will work alongside colleagues in the School and Professional Services, utilizing data and analytics to identify and develop interventions for students experiencing challenges in their studies. You will liaise directly with students, providing pro-active signposting, support, coaching, and referral to further support services as required.
Your role will include promoting student retention, engagement, and extracurricular activities, helping students adapt quickly to the university environment and to understand expectations associated with academic work at the university level. You will also provide mentoring, advice, and coaching services to students.
About You
We are seeking graduates to join us as Student Education & Experience Officers or Student Education & Experience Officers (International). You will work in our School of Arts and Creative Industries, which is located at our modern, well-connected Docklands and Stratford Campuses. Our team is part of the Student Engagement and Success Unit and Student Services Directorate. We use cutting-edge technology and research to improve progression, retention, and graduate outcomes, which has shown a significant impact on our students’ satisfaction, behavior, and outcomes.
