The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is a dynamic institution dedicated to transforming education and enhancing the student experience. They have created innovative physical and digital Student Hubs (Hwbs), which serve as one-stop centers for student support, communication, and engagement. As part of this initiative, the university is hiring a Student Communications Officer to play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining digital platforms that enhance student engagement across campuses and online environments.
The role involves creating and managing digital content for the Student Hwb App, emails, bulletins, welcome brochures, Hwbcasts (student-centered podcasts), and other resources aimed at informing and supporting both UK-based and international students. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that communications are engaging, accessible, and culturally inclusive for all students, including international and distance learners. This position offers an opportunity to work alongside a passionate team dedicated to nurturing a positive, supportive student experience.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Carmarthen, although flexible campus options may be considered. The salary ranges from £31,236 to £34,610 per annum, and successful applicants will enjoy generous annual leave and additional university closure days.
