The Global Engagement Office (GEO) are recruiting a Senior Study Abroad Officer to develop Brunel University London’s Study Abroad programme and diverse partnership portfolio. We are an ambitious team and are looking to welcome a motivated individual to join us who is passionate about internationalisation and has experience in partnership development and student recruitment to Study Abroad and Student Mobility programmes.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-driven and have a track record of meeting project targets and timelines, as well as a flexible and innovative approach to business development. Strong interpersonal skills are key as the role will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

The Senior Study Abroad Officer will:

  • Contribute to the development of sustainable revenue and recruitment channels through Study Abroad programmes and strategic international partnerships
  • Support the delivery of Study Abroad, student/staff mobility and short-term programmes in collaboration with colleagues in academic and professional service departments
  • Provide high level support and guidance to students/staff throughout their international mobility experiences
  • Develop networks with key internal and external stakeholders to raise the profile of the University in priority markets and ensure effective delivery of partner programmes
  • Advise and support staff to research, identify, develop and maintaining recruitment-focussed Study Abroad and student mobility partnerships
  • Support the Study Abroad & Student Mobility team in achieving strategic targets
  • Undertake international travel to represent the University at student recruitment fairs and visit partner institutions to promote programmes, and host inward visits to support partner engagement.
