Kingston University

This position is accountable for supporting the Associate Director of International Student Recruitment with the development of international recruitment strategies and operations. It involves leading and managing the international recruitment team and contributing to the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives and targets for recruiting international students.

The post requires flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend work and limitations on annual leave. The role includes overseas travel, which can entail long hours, including evening and weekend work. A flexible and cooperative approach to working hours is essential.

About You

Thorough knowledge of the UK Higher Education System and current HE International marketing environment is a must. Candidates must possess vast knowledge and practical experience in the international marketing of higher education and be capable of devising and executing successful marketing, recruitment, and conversion strategies, including managing budgets and agents in various international territories. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a professional or postgraduate qualification is necessary. Familiarity with the University’s financial policies, CMA, GDPR, and relevant legal regulations is also required.

Directorate/Function

The Directorate for Students oversees a student body that is diverse and inclusive. It focuses on student well-being and helps students become desirable graduates through career development.

The Recruitment and Admissions section within the Student Directorate is a significant department responsible for all recruitment and admissions for home, EU, and international students. It provides guidance and advice to the University on recruitment and admissions, including website management, course marketing, student admissions, graphic design, writing & editing, international development, visa and immigration advice, events, and graduation services. Our goal is to enhance customer service while broadening access.
