The University of Salford is offering an exciting opportunity to join its dynamic International Office as a Senior Partnerships Officer. This role is a pivotal part of Team Salford, situated within one of the UK’s rapidly expanding universities. As a Senior Partnerships Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping and advancing the University’s internationalisation goals. Your main responsibility will be managing and nurturing partnerships that enhance the University’s global engagement and collaborative efforts. This includes coordinating Transnational Education (TNE) programs, progression and articulation agreements, study abroad offerings, and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Management: Lead and empower the Partnerships Team to deliver successful international partnerships and collaborative projects.
- Strategic Development: Innovate account management practices and coordinate cross-university activities to ensure partnership success.
- Project Planning: Oversee a comprehensive calendar of key tasks and deadlines for the Partnerships Team.
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively seek and evaluate potential international collaborations and represent the University at relevant external events.
- Project Management: Guide partnership development projects, including conducting research, environmental scanning, and due diligence processes.
- New Business Development: Collaborate with academic departments to develop viable proposals for new international partnerships.
- Equity and Inclusion: Contribute to initiatives that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within the University and its partnerships.
