As the lead for the two international policy projects noted above, you will ensure there is alignment and complementarity across the international portfolio. The senior manager will work closely with the Head of International, and the Vice President, International and Academy Fellows, to develop the two programmes. They will also work across the different teams within the Academy, including the Careers and Grants teams, and play a key role in delivering the Academy’s new 10-years strategy.
The Senior Manager will act as the focal point for our partnerships with sister academies from our high-income countries outside Europe, including developing partnership agreements, and will work closely with the Senior European Policy Officer to ensure alignment of work. They will nurture the partnership and ensure the two projects are delivered to time and budget. This will also include fulfilling the reporting requirements of the funder and providing evaluations of the two projects to outline the impact of the work.
The Senior Manager will line-manage the Senior International Policy Officer and International Policy Officer who will support the delivery of the two projects.
