Job Overview: Senior Compliance Assistant
Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Compliance Assistant to support international students with visa-related processes. This role is integral to our collaboration with the newly established International College, in partnership with Navitas. As a part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with UK immigration laws, aiding students through the complexities of obtaining their visas, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
Role Responsibilities:
- Issue Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for international students.
- Conduct Right to Study (RTS) checks to ensure compliance.
- Address visa-related inquiries to assist prospective international students.
- Foster student engagement throughout the visa application journey.
- Collaborate with Navitas to maintain thriving stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor and report potential immigration risks during CAS issuance and RTS checks.
- Uphold high standards in the administration of CAS and RTS processes.
Candidate Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of UK Visas and Immigration regulations, preferably with experience in higher education.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Awareness of immigration risks and challenges.
- A proactive approach to supporting international students.
