We are currently hiring for the position of Senior Education Counsellor to lead our education business unit. This role will be based in our East Victoria Park office in Western Australia. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified QEAC
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant counselling experience
  • Prior business development experience in the international education industry
  • Friendly and assertive manner for stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, with proficiency in a second language preferred
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Hardworking, efficient, and proactive attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • Full work rights in Australia

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

Business Development

  • Explore new markets and demographics by collaborating with education partners, associates, overseas offices, marketing, and visa teams
  • Analyze industry trends and identify new education products and opportunities to attract students
  • Manage leads and ensure prompt and accurate responses on various platforms
  • Pursue business opportunities within current clientele
  • Participate in marketing activities such as events and expos
  • Track conversion rate and prepare reports for continuous improvement
  • Motivate the team to achieve established KPIs and sales targets

Enrolment Counselling

  • Provide counselling and education advice to prospective students as a Senior Education Counsellor
  • Understand course materials and qualifications of education partners to provide accurate information to students for informed decision-making
  • Coordinate enrolment process with partner institutions
  • Ensure applications adhere to institution-specific rules and regulations
  • Collaborate with partner institutions and visa team to revise enrolment entry requirements
  • Provide guidance on complex cases
  • Establish proper records management

Administration and Client Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date record-keeping within the organization’s CRM and databases
  • Handle client communication and enquiries promptly
  • Manage the remote processing team for timely application submission
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of administrative processes
  • Establish proper client communication and management processes

Industry Compliance

  • Adhere to ESOS and National Code regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of client data
  • Adhere to other applicable industry regulations
