We are looking for a major gifts fundraiser to join the successful and dedicated MPLS Development Team. This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside senior academics and manage relationships with distinguished donors to the MPLS Division. The existing MPLS team has maintained remarkable fundraising success, and you will be part of a supportive and friendly group.
This role entails a stimulating environment at the esteemed University of Oxford with a global reputation for excellence. Your fundraised will provide support for graduate scholarships, key academics, research programmes, and infrastructure. You’ll be interacting with and securing gifts from individuals, corporate partners, and trusts and foundations, in coordination with senior academics.
To be successful in this role, you need:
-Proven fundraising experience in a complex organisation and direct involvement in securing major gifts or corporate partnerships
-The capacity to think strategically and tactically about the relationship between potential donors and overseeing progress against fundraising goals
-Extensive expertise in major gift-giving and long-term strategies for principal gifts solicitations
-Amor for science and technology, preferably backed by experience
