As part of the Students & Education Directorate, we work alongside various professional services to support King’s students and their education. In this role, we manage the student lifecycle from application to graduation and beyond, ensuring a seamless and coherent student experience.
About the role:
The Senior Admissions Officer will oversee a team of Admissions Officers in providing a professional and proactive admissions service. This includes setting clear objectives, managing the team’s workload to ensure high-quality applicant experiences, and making accurate and efficient decisions.
As a team leader, the post-holder will serve as a contact point for inquiries from Admissions Officers and colleagues across the university. They will also research and provide advice on non-standard qualifications and fee statuses. Additionally, they will conduct training and share knowledge with the team, working collaboratively towards a shared goal.
The post-holder will be responsible for assisting the university in meeting its admissions targets by monitoring decision progress and analyzing data trends. They will collaborate with colleagues in Admissions and across the university to ensure a consistent and fair admissions process.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates to develop their line management skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. It also allows for the utilization of customer service and administrative expertise. Candidates with experience from both within and outside the Higher Education sector are encouraged to apply, provided they can demonstrate the required skills.
This is a full-time role with an indefinite contract.
