The University of Sheffield is seeking a qualified individual to lead and manage the International Student Support, Advice and Compliance (ISSAC) team, which consists of 11 staff members. This team provides support to the university’s international students, who make up approximately 10,000 of the student body, regarding visa and immigration inquiries and ensuring compliance with UKVI legislation.
The Head of ISSAC will be responsible for overseeing all immigration and UKVI compliance work within the department, as well as collaborating with other functional areas. The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills to develop staff and maintain high team performance, especially during periods of change.
The role requires building effective relationships with senior colleagues and contributing to the wider Student Experience and Support service. This position reports directly to the Head of Student Experience and Support.
