OVERVIEW The Director of International Affairs at Ringling College of Art and Design is a senior leadership role focused on supporting international students and advancing the institution’s global engagement. Based in Sarasota, Florida, this position serves as a central hub for immigration compliance, student advising, and international partnerships. The role spans the full international student lifecycle while also strengthening the College’s presence within the global higher education community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Serve as the primary contact point for international students from initial enrollment through integration into the campus community – Act as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) – Ensure compliance with SEVIS and U.S. immigration regulations – Oversee study abroad programs and international exchange initiatives – Advise both international and domestic students – Collaborate with campus partners across the institution – Represent the College in global educational relationships and professional associations REQUIREMENTS WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role is essential to maintaining institutional compliance with immigration regulations while creating a supportive and inclusive environment for international students. By connecting academic units, student services, and external partners, the Director of International Affairs helps ensure that global engagement is aligned with the College’s mission.
