An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Recruitment Regional Manager to join the Student Recruitment team at the University of Surrey. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the University’s recruitment efforts in the China and East Asia region. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive our Student Recruitment and Marketing strategies in this area.

The main focus of this role will be to recruit high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate students from overseas. To achieve this, you will need to build strong relationships with agents, sponsors, and school counselors, and use various recruitment methods to effectively promote the University to potential students.

Key responsibilities include deputizing for the Director of International Student Recruitment, developing and executing regional recruitment plans, staying updated on recruitment trends in the East Asia region, and providing leadership and guidance to the International Student Recruitment and Marketing Team.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in international recruitment within higher education, be familiar with overseas recruitment practices, and have a good understanding of the international recruitment sector. Strong presentation, project management, and IT skills are also important. International travel will be required, so a valid passport and willingness to travel are essential.
