The International Student Recruitment (ISR) team at Brunel University London plays a pivotal role in attracting international students. Representing over 150 countries, our university boasts a vibrant and diverse global community, all situated on our singular London campus.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic professional for a new role focused on recruiting students from Sub-Saharan Africa, a key growth market for UK higher education. The ideal candidate will possess experience in international higher education and familiarity with the African market. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance our recruitment efforts, leveraging and expanding our existing strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead strategic recruitment planning for the African region
– Manage stakeholder relationships effectively
– Collaborate with and influence academic staff and agents
– Oversee the timely delivery of complex projects and associated budgets
– Achieve sales targets
While the role is based in the UK, you will line manage a multicultural, multinational team, some of whom are stationed in-country. Flexibility and willingness to travel overseas is essential.
Essential Qualifications:
– Educated to degree level or equivalent
– Innovative mindset with strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and formulate business cases
– Commercial acumen and cultural sensitivity
