The Regional Director (RD) is responsible for a designated U.S. region. They are responsible for establishing, nurturing, and strengthening long-term partnerships that support and increase participation in the Semester at Sea program. The RD will also actively sell the program to prospective gap year, college, and post-grad students and their families, admit qualified applicants, and support them through the admission process. The Regional Director takes responsibility for the prospects/inquiries in their assigned territory and for meeting the enrollment targets set for their region. The position does require a heavy amount of travel with some evening and weekend work, as well. The position is a regular, full-time position.
