**Job Summary**
The CTRF is seeking a Project Manager to lead an innovative marine Carbon Dioxide Removal (mCDR) initiative. The role involves collaborating with a Management Group and Steering Committee to determine priorities for further research and funding in the mCDR field. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources, working with the Steering Committee to draft reports that highlight priority areas, and recommending actions or investments. Managing diverse stakeholder needs and viewpoints through the Management Group is also a crucial aspect of this role. **Role Purpose**
The Project Manager will coordinate The Poseidon Project partnership, overseeing the development and authorship of the synthesis report and final mCDR action and recommendation reports. Responsibilities include synthesizing future direction in the mCDR field from current literature and roadmaps, collaborating with an international scientific steering committee and management group, and producing a report with actionable steps and funding recommendations to drive significant progress in mCDR by 2030.
**Main Duties**
1. **Management and Coordination:**
– Ensure initiative milestones are met, including regular reporting as required.
– Conduct regular meetings with the management group to update on progress and seek guidance and support.
– Cultivate relationships with key consultants, such as workshop facilitators.
2. **Workshop Delivery:**
– Assist in organizing two international workshops in 2025 to address and build consensus on R&D priorities within the international ocean CDR community.
3. **Final Report Writing:**
– Prepare and publish a scientific paper reviewed by the scientific committee, summarizing current information and recommending a research program poised for significant sectoral impact.
**Further Information**
This role can be performed fully remotely or hybrid from Oxford. If fully remote, the expectation is for a significant overlap (>4 hours/day) with UK hours. The position is available immediately.
