Job Description: Project Manager (Clinical Research) in Emerging Infectious Diseases

Are you passionate about tackling global health challenges and playing a key role in pandemic preparedness and response? This exciting opportunity is for a Project Manager (Clinical Research) within the field of emerging infectious diseases. You’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting international clinical research projects across multiple collaborators, with the potential to impact health systems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and influence global outcomes.

In this dynamic and multifaceted role, you’ll help drive projects in two international initiatives:

  1. ISARIC (International Severe Acute Respiratory and Emerging Infections Consortium): A network of clinical research groups hosted by the Pandemic Sciences Institute, aiming to advance leadership in LMICs for outbreak response research.
  2. NAVIPP (Nipah and Antiviral Pandemic Preparedness): An international platform focused on developing antiviral treatments targeting pandemic-threat pathogens, including Nipah virus.

Your work will involve strategic planning, managing research collaborations, supporting stakeholders, addressing scientific and logistical challenges, and ensuring project milestones are achieved. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their project management skills while contributing to critical global health research.
