Job Description: Program Coordinator for Democratizing Education for Global Sustainability and Justice
Lucy Cavendish College is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join their Democratizing Education for Global Sustainability and Justice Programme on a part-time basis, until 30 June 2026. This role is vital in supporting and expanding educational efforts aimed at advancing sustainable development and justice worldwide. As the Program Coordinator, you will be instrumental in coordinating various program activities, managing resources, and facilitating effective communication between international partners.
You will work closely with Professor Marie-Claire Cordonier Segger, the Chair in Sustainable Development Law and Policy, to develop and promote engaging online courses. These courses focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), innovative law and policy solutions, and foster international dialogue and networking among learners and practitioners. Your responsibilities will include relationship management, program delivery, online course creation, and enhancing learner engagement across the University of Cambridge and its global affiliates.
Applicant Profile
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A strong educational background in relevant fields such as Law, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Environment, Development Studies, or Education. A postgraduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Law or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- A keen interest in sustainable development, international education, and capacity building.
- Experience in managing online educational platforms, leading engagement strategies, and fostering partnerships.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including experience in executive assistance or chief of staff roles.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for diverse audiences.
- Technical skills in video editing, seminar hosting, and event management.
