Job Overview: Programme Assistant at the University of Salford

Are you passionate about education and languages? The University of Salford is offering an exciting opportunity as a Programme Assistant, a role integral to supporting the smooth functioning of key educational programmes like the International Foundation Year, University Wide Language Programme, Pre-Sessional English, and Learning English for Academic Purposes. This dynamic position requires close collaboration with the four main Schools and central professional services teams. Ideal candidates should have experience in Higher Education and a strong desire to engage with diverse cultures and languages.

What Does the Role Involve?

  • Assisting the Programme Administrator with their duties to ensure seamless programme execution.
  • Providing exceptional front-line service to visitors, and delivering a superior customer experience to students and staff in all programme-related activities.
  • Coordinating with the Student Administration Team to manage various aspects of the student journey.
  • Collecting and compiling data for assessment board meetings while ensuring coordination with external examiners and adherence to all deadlines.
