Student Futures, part of the Student Life Division of Cardiff University, is a dynamic department that collaborates with University colleagues, students, and employers to enhance student employability and improve graduate outcomes.

As a member of the Opportunities Zone team in the Business School, this role focuses on assisting students in securing placements. Responsibilities include finding placement opportunities, supporting students throughout the process, liaising with academic colleagues and employers, and contributing to development projects as needed. The role specifically emphasizes postgraduate students, utilizing a CRM system to manage end-to-end processes for setting up, monitoring, and evaluating individual and group placements. While working in a team and following established procedures, there is also room to exercise creativity and initiative in expanding this important provision for Business School students.

This position is full time (35 hours per week) and open-ended. The salary range is £29,762 – £34,314 per annum (Grade 5). Some occasional evening and weekend work may be required due to the nature of the role.
