**Job Opportunity: Placements Officer at Stoke Campus**

**About the Role:**

Join our dynamic central employability team as a Placements Officer. We are currently recruiting for several roles that focus on sandwich placements, compliance, and international mobility. Under the guidance of the Placements Manager and the Senior Placements Officer (Undergraduate), you will leverage your expertise to enhance placement experiences and international mobility participation, ensuring outstanding student experiences across the university.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Responsibilities will vary based on your area of expertise and preference:

– **Placement Compliance:** Oversee placement approvals, ensure due diligence, manage health and safety aspects, and work closely with academic tutors to enhance placement experiences.

– **International Mobility:** Administer the Turing grant, conduct mobility sessions, coach students, run promotional activities, and lead international group study trips.

– **Sandwich Placements:** Develop and deliver placement preparation sessions, handle student caseloads through individualized coaching, and facilitate matching students with suitable opportunities.

Across all areas, you will also organize placement events, support promotional campaigns, and collaborate with fellow officers to offer a diverse array of placement and mobility options. Your role will include representing placements and international mobility at career fairs and Open Days at our Stoke and London campuses.

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

– Holds a degree (or equivalent) and has substantial experience in placements and employability.
– Experienced in international mobility and has a strong background in Work-Based Learning (WBL) compliance, preferably within Higher Education.
– Possesses excellent communication, IT, and organizational skills, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
