**About the Role**
The individual in this role will independently manage, oversee, and monitor industrial placements within the school’s year-in-industry degree programs. This effort aims to secure the highest number of one-year industrial placements for students from the School of Economics and Finance and the School of Business and Management. Additionally, the individual will manage all exchange programs, including full-year, semester, and summer school exchanges, for both incoming and outgoing undergraduate students of the school.

**About You**
You should hold a degree or equivalent qualification and have experience working within a Higher Education environment. Experience in managing industrial or study abroad placements or similar roles is required. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with external organisations, accompanied by strong interpersonal skills, is essential.

**About the Schools**
The School of Economics and Finance is a national and international leader in teaching and research. It offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, some of which are conducted jointly with other schools. The school caters to over 700 undergraduate and over 900 postgraduate taught students, providing excellent facilities and resources for enhanced learning, including training and access to real-time trading software.

The School of Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London is internationally recognised for its research and teaching excellence. It has seen rapid growth, with over 4,000 students and more than 150 staff members. The school is committed to maintaining and enhancing a unique research and teaching profile, fostering a supportive and intellectually challenging environment.

Both schools are part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which consists of nine schools.
