What Does the Role Involve?
As an Admissions Officer, you will play a critical role in the postgraduate and professional admissions process by assessing and processing applications from diverse candidates, including both UK-based and international applicants. You’ll ensure that applicants receive prompt, accurate, and tailored responses to their inquiries and that their experience is streamlined, student-focused, and designed to maximize conversions from applicants to enrolled students.
The role emphasizes providing excellent service to students from around the world, supporting the university’s mission to recruit a vibrant and diverse student body. You will be liaising with teams across the university, resolving queries, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and addressing problems proactively.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model with “dynamic working,” allowing you to balance your time between Aston University’s campus in the heart of Birmingham city and working from home.
