About the Role:

Experience Gold Coast (EGC) is on the lookout for an Industry Partnership Specialist, Education. This role serves as a bridge connecting the education sector with key industries across the Gold Coast, aiming to foster collaboration and enhance student pathways. Reporting to the Industry Partnerships Manager, this position involves engaging with sectors such as tourism, sports, health, arts, film, and government to sync education with economic objectives. It also supports membership engagement and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with industry initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Education subject matter expert within the Visitor Economy team.
  • Facilitate strategic collaborations between Education Providers and Industry Partners to maximize engagement opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Education, Government, and Business Sectors to increase industry participation in EGC programs.
  • Organize industry engagement events, roundtables, and briefings, and assist with familiarization tours and site visits.
  • Implement and sustain the education membership engagement framework, including onboarding new members, tracking activities, and optimizing relationships through our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Government agencies, trade bodies, and local businesses to initiate city-wide projects strengthening international education connections.
  • Monitor member engagement, evaluate partnership impacts, and provide insights for future strategy development.
  • Work with internal teams to showcase successful collaborations and achievements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or Government Relations.
  • 3-4 years of experience in education, corporate, government, or industry engagement roles.
  • Proven expertise in planning and executing industry events and engagement programs.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office, and project management tools to manage effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage a diverse array of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
