Position Summary:
The International Partnerships Operations Manager will collaborate with the Director of International Partnerships in overseeing the management and operations of channel partners, institutional partners, and contract and financial aspects of establishing and maintaining a B-to-B network on a global scale. The role primarily focuses on ensuring the high quality of partner development and operations while providing excellent customer service. The Operations Manager will need to demonstrate insight, tact, and diplomacy in interactions with internal and external stakeholders of Northeastern’s Colleges.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Management:
– Manage a diverse portfolio of international partnerships
– Foster relationships with recruitment channel partners worldwide
– Collaborate with the Director to assess and implement improvements to international channel partnerships
– Assist in creating an optimal management platform for partnership coordination and development
– Coordinate with international channel partners to ensure smooth program recruitment processes
– Support the Director in managing affairs related to North American channel partners and institutional partners
– Provide assistance during partner visits
Financial Management:
– Collaborate with various financial departments and the Director to obtain student enrollment data for accurate commission payments and fund transfers
– Train and update channel partners on the invoicing process
– Collect and process invoices in adherence to contractual terms
Contract Management:
– Assist the Director in processing and managing channel partner contracts, applications, and supporting materials
– Aid in the negotiation and establishment of collaborative programs between internal academic departments and external partners
Customer Service and Others:
– Manage international partner email correspondence to ensure smooth communication and excellent customer service
Minimum Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Higher Education, Management, or a related field
– 2+ years of experience, preferably in a higher education setting
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Proficiency with databases and experience working with diverse student populations
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
– Familiarity with US and global higher education systems
– Commitment to international education and cross-cultural understanding
– Ability to interact professionally with international representatives, faculty, and students while maintaining confidentiality
– Solid organizational, project management, administrative, and computer skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Salesforce and student record systems (e.g., Banner)
– Proficiency in a second or third language preferred
