About Us:
The Tax Institute is a leading member-driven organization dedicated to providing high-quality education for tax professionals. As the Student Recruitment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in helping us reach our enrolment targets and contribute to the success of our Higher Education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source new students through effective cold calling and referral follow-ups.
2. Act as the main contact between students and the education team to provide optimal service.
3. Understand students’ motivations for studying tax and develop relationships to enhance enrolment opportunities.
4. Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional events.
5. Become an expert in our education products.
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Meet enrolment targets for each study period.
2. Track and measure enrolments for success and return on investment.
3. Ensure no candidate processing failures as per risk and compliance audits.
4. Deliver reports and ad-hoc projects on time and within agreed parameters.
5. Adhere to Admission Policy and DSS protocols for credit card processing.
Key Areas of Accountability + Duties and Responsibilities:
Enrolment Support:
– Accurately record relevant information in the CRM system.
– Process candidate enrolments within agreed timeframes and service level agreements.
– Resolve customer queries and escalate complex matters.
Inbound Customer Product Knowledge:
– Respond to customer queries regarding The Tax Institute education products.
– Keep up-to-date knowledge of all products and services.
Reporting:
– Contribute to monthly reporting on activities as requested by the Higher Education Delivery Manager.
Operational Management:
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
– Participate in the ongoing review of the Admission Policy and related processes.
Team:
– Be proactive in supporting the team as needed.
– Contribute to The Tax Institute culture and work on ad-hoc projects.
Key Stakeholders:
Internal: Executive General Manager, Higher Education Delivery Manager, Academic Director, Other Tax Institute employees.
External: Potential and existing students, Employees of The Tax Institute (TTI), Suppliers/agencies, Candidates at events, Corporate customers, New prospects.
Selection Criteria:
Essential Experience:
– Minimum three years of experience in telesales or customer service roles.
– Cold calling and building long-term relationships.
– Comfortable with working towards targets and service level agreements.
– High proficiency in using CRM systems with a strong understanding of data integrity.
Desirable:
– Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
– Three years of experience in a student recruitment role.
– Experience working in a Higher Education provider or University.
Essential Skills and Competencies:

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
