About the Role and Organisation
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer position at the Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS) presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a globally impactful educational and research organisation. IIS is dedicated to studying Islam and Muslim societies, with a focus on Ismaili and Shi’i traditions, fostering intercultural understanding and producing pioneering scholarship since its establishment in 1977.
As a key member of the Office of Student and Academic Affairs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of academic programmes and institutional initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, you will lead the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of IIS’s programmes. Your work will involve designing data collection methodologies, conducting rigorous analyses, and preparing insightful reports for senior management and stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with programme leads and departmental heads to ensure IIS’s initiatives align with strategic priorities and make a tangible impact in serving its global mission.
