Position: Senior Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager – Vocational and Higher Education

APEX Australia Vocational and Higher Education is a well-established and leading provider of Vocational and Higher Education courses to international students. APEX is seeking a Senior Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager to lead our digital and physical transformation and establish ourselves as leaders in the international education sector.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the College’s enrolments, marketing, communications, community relations, events, and alumnae community. They will oversee these departments and ensure the successful implementation of strategic enrolment, marketing, and communications activities to promote APEX Australia as a reputable educational institution in NSW and Victoria.

Qualifications and Skills:
We are seeking an innovative and resourceful individual with a strong commitment to delivering excellence and the desire to grow within a highly talented team. As the Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager, you will collaborate closely with agents, students, industry partners, and governing bodies to develop targeted marketing campaigns that promote the APEX brand and help us achieve student recruitment and enrolment targets. In addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills, you should possess expertise in data-driven decision-making, digital marketing, graphic design, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the international education sector
– Digital marketing experience in sales and marketing platforms (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) within the international education sector
– Excellent multi-channel marketing experience in the international education sector
– Knowledge of the ELICOS, VET, and Higher Education sectors, as well as current Australian immigration policies
– Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales forecasts and targeted student numbers
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with industry partners, agents, and students
– Strong digital literacy, including the ability to design marketing materials, analyze industry data and internal reports, and efficiently process documents and information through reporting channels (PRISMS, Student Management Systems)
– Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
– Willingness to travel interstate or overseas, if required

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement effective marketing and student recruitment initiatives, campaigns, and strategies to promote the APEX brand and consistently increase student numbers
– Cultivate relationships with new and existing agents, international and domestic partners, and other stakeholders
– Manage admissions processes, including monitoring leads and conversions against targets, processing student and agent applications, and issuing COEs as required
– Design, produce, and distribute a range of promotional and marketing materials
– Create and manage budgets and forecasts for marketing and student recruitment activities
– Conduct audits of marketing materials and evaluations of agents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, on scheduled and random basis
– Generate, monitor, and analyze internal and external data and reports to support strategic decision-making, improve marketing and operational activities, and manage stakeholder relationships
– Stay updated on international student markets, opportunities, and government policies locally and internationally, including visiting agents and partners to enhance relations
