LINC Online Coordinator

Overview
LINC Education is in partnership with Australian education providers including Navitas (UniSmarter brand) and UoW College to offer online undergraduate diploma programs to students in South Asia. These programs provide a classroom-like teaching environment and meet the standards of quality classroom-based learning. Each module is led by an Online Coordinator based in Australia, supported by Online Facilitators in India. The modules are delivered in an intensive 8-week format. The Online Coordinator must maintain current knowledge and skills in their discipline.

The Online Coordinator will work on weekdays, with synchronous interactions with students and Online Facilitators scheduled between 2:30pm – 6:30pm AEST. Flexibility to respond to urgent student issues outside of scheduled hours is beneficial.

The Opportunity

LINC Education is seeking Online Coordinators for online modules that prepare students in India for admission to colleges and partner universities in Australia and the UK. The available modules are at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Responsibilities
A. Student communication, teaching and support.
1. Post welcome announcements and videos to all students on the LMS.
2. Regularly communicate with students through email, LMS announcements, and discussion forums as guided by the LINC Program Manager.
3. Prepare and conduct weekly webinars for students.
4. Maintain regular contact with Online Facilitators to ensure adherence to the curriculum and module guide.
5. Address student requests, concerns, complaints, and policy violations. Support the Student Success Advisory teams for ‘students at risk’ and special cases.

B. Grading and Quality Assurance
1. Review assessment tasks at the start of the teaching period.
2. Organize moderation meetings with Online Facilitators and determine marking distribution.
3. Coordinate and complete assessment marking duties.
4. Ensure accuracy of marks entered into the LMS.
5. Provide progressive results and feedback to students within one week of submission.
6. Participate in the QA process including providing sample papers and preparing documentation for module sign-off.
7. Meet with the QA lead from the partner university or college to review final results and QA reports.

Training

LINC will provide mandatory training on using the LMS, moderation and quality assurance processes, and expectations for webinars. Training will be conducted through live Zoom sessions.

Time Effort and Compensation
The time effort ranges between 48-63 hours depending on student load. Compensation includes a fixed and variable component.

Qualification and selection criteria:

Essential selection criteria include:

  • Master’s degree in management, Business, IT, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience as a module coordinator for undergraduate programs.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Experience teaching online in an intensive or short-term format is advantageous.
  • Eligibility to work as a sole trader in Australia (ABN required).

Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview with LINC Education. Candidates will be expected to lead a 20-minute demo webinar during the interview.
