We are seeking a Lead International Student Compliance Officer to oversee compliance at our UK and Germany campuses, ensuring all activities meet UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) and other regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in managing student visa matters, building relationships with stakeholders, and leading audit processes.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison with external agencies and immigration authorities.
- Stay updated on UK immigration requirements (UKVI, UKCISA) and develop a knowledge base of German immigration systems.
- Oversee sponsor license management, including reporting, CAS allocations, and compliance assessments.
- Handle student visa processes, including extensions and documentation, and report to relevant bodies.
- Ensure student visa holders comply with attendance and engagement requirements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regulatory advice.
- Lead audit preparations and manage regulatory visits.
- Coordinate with local teams in the UK and Germany to ensure compliance.
- Report compliance issues to the Head of International Student Compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree-level qualification.
- Comprehensive understanding of the UK immigration system and experience managing complex processes.
- Knowledge or readiness to learn about German immigration systems.
- Experience providing guidance to international students.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Experience in audit preparations and regulatory management.
