Job Summary:

This role involves working with IIE’s Corporate and Foundation Programs and Student Emergency Initiatives Department, which oversees global scholarship, fellowship, and small grants programs funded by foundations, corporations, and individual donors. The department focuses on promoting higher education access and addressing critical issues of our time. As a member of the Programs Team, you will contribute to multiple programs throughout their lifecycle.

The Program Lead will be responsible for IIE’s role as the Program Implementation and Administration Partner for the Ford Global Fellowship (FGF). The FGF aims to connect and support the next generation of social justice leaders who are working on innovative solutions to end inequality. In this role, you will collaborate with the Ford Foundation, Fellows, program implementation partners, and other stakeholders to co-design and implement a Fellowship experience and Community of Practice. The Fellowship is grounded in transformational leadership and organizational development, and you will work with Ford to put these frameworks into practice, creating dynamic, inclusive, and impactful engagements.

Essential Functions:

– Lead the implementation of the Fellowship experience, including in-person experiential learning opportunities worldwide, virtual events, and individual development pathways.
– Bridge program design to implementation as a core contributor on the FGF Core Design Team and lead the events and activities implementation team.
– Support and contribute to co-design in the administration of the full Community of Practice.
– Design and facilitate group meetings and discussions for the partner team, Fellows, and other stakeholders.
– Lead and supervise the IIE team dedicated to this program and collaborate closely with sub-contracted partners and other Ford-contracted partners to achieve programming objectives.
– Oversee and manage IIE’s contract with the Ford Foundation, including budget management and reporting.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

– Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Master’s in organizational development or related field preferred, with 6-7 years of related experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

– Experience leading complex teams and working with multiple stakeholders while maintaining a global perspective and creating inclusive, equitable groups.
– Program administration and implementation experience, including project management, event strategy, planning and curation, vendor management, and budget management.
– Ability to translate theory and design into practice within a complex stakeholder environment.
– Theoretical and practical experience in adult, leadership, and organizational development, social justice issues, collective co-design, and building communities of practice.
– Proficient in group facilitation, including facilitating diverse groups across cultural, gender, racial, and political differences.
– Experience and desire to work within large, global organizations to effect positive social change and navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
– Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $78,534 – $94,947, with salary determined by relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and geographic region.

Travel: 10 to 25%
