Key Responsibilities

The Laboratory Attendant will play a vital role in supporting the university’s Academic Innovation Center (AIC) computer labs and classrooms. Responsibilities include:

  • Guiding students on how to use computers, printers, and software.
  • Completing and managing daily work order requests using Agiloft Maintenance Reports.
  • Maintaining audio/visual equipment and ensuring their proper care.
  • Serving as a problem-solving resource for professors, staff, and students.
  • Performing additional related duties as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or a related field.
  • Some experience in computer hardware, software, and audio/visual equipment.
  • Applicants must NOT be currently enrolled as undergraduate students at Texas A&M International University.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with teaching and classroom materials.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, collaborate with teams, and maintain confidentiality.
