OVERVIEW The Head, International Development role at The University of Queensland provides senior leadership for the university’s international development activities. The position focuses on advancing UQ’s international development agenda through the delivery of programs, partnerships, and advisory services with global reach. Operating within a commercial delivery model, the role draws on UQ’s extensive academic expertise to deliver impact across diverse international contexts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide strategic leadership for UQ International Development to advance the university’s international development agenda. – Lead the design and delivery of high-impact international development programs. – Develop and manage partnerships that support international development outcomes. – Oversee the provision of advisory services aligned with UQ’s international development objectives. – Operate UQ International Development within a commercial delivery model. – Leverage academic expertise from UQ faculties, institutes, and centres to deliver international development projects. – Support and guide the delivery of projects across multiple countries and regions.
