OVERVIEW The Inbound Program Coordinator – Student Exchange Programs is a full-time role focused on administering and supporting inbound high school exchange students placed in secondary schools across Australia. Based in Mona Vale, New South Wales, the position sits within Student Exchange Australia New Zealand (SEANZ) and works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure student exchange programs operate smoothly. The role combines coordination, student support, compliance oversight, and collaboration within a supportive team environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Administer inbound high school student exchange programs across Australia – Liaise with overseas partner organizations regarding inbound students and program matters – Coordinate host family placements for inbound exchange students – Coordinate school placements for students in Australian secondary schools – Provide ongoing support to students, host families, schools, and local coordinators – Monitor student reports and program documentation – Identify, manage, and resolve issues that arise during the program – Contribute to student and stakeholder orientation activities – Ensure programs meet regulatory obligations and child safety requirements REQUIREMENTS – Availability to work in a full-time role – Ability to be based in Mona Vale, New South Wales, with hybrid work arrangements WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Inbound student exchange programs rely on strong coordination and consistent support to deliver safe and meaningful experiences for young people.
