OVERVIEW The Director, Shift Education Labs role provides strategic leadership for an innovation-focused unit within Virginia Commonwealth University. This position centers on advancing education initiatives with a strong international dimension, including study abroad and global pilot programs. The director works at the intersection of innovation, partnerships, and collaborations that connect the university with initiatives abroad. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide strategic leadership for VCU’s Shift Education Lab – Advance innovative education initiatives – Lead and support partnerships connected to the lab’s mission – Oversee international collaborations, including study abroad programs – Support global pilot programs – Manage partnerships with EDU Hub in Lisbon, Portugal REQUIREMENTS – WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role matters because it supports advancing institutional priorities in global education through structured collaborations and partnerships abroad.
