OVERVIEW This Graduate Assistant role within the Office of International Student Success supports international students during the 2026–2027 academic year at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. The position focuses on assisting F-1 and J-1 international students through programming, guidance, and administrative support that contribute to student success and compliance. It is a part-time, temporary graduate assistantship that includes a stipend and tuition remission and is designed to complement graduate study in higher education leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Support the Office of International Student Success in providing resources to F-1 and J-1 international students. – Assist with international student orientation programming. – Support the planning and delivery of events for international students. – Assist with compliance workshops related to international student status. – Contribute to communications with international students. – Support recordkeeping related to international student services. – Assist with managing and updating social media related to the office. REQUIREMENTS – Enrollment in the M.A. in Higher Education Leadership.
