OVERVIEW The Program Assistant, Elon in NYC role sits within the Department of Global Engagement at Elon University and supports the Study USA NYC summer program. This position focuses on providing on-the-ground assistance to students while coordinating program operations, communications, and engagement activities. The role is immersive and requires close collaboration with students, alumni, and campus partners during the program period. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Provide on-the-ground support for students participating in the Study USA NYC summer program – Assist students with questions, concerns, and day-to-day needs during the program – Support student well-being throughout the program period – Coordinate program logistics and day-to-day operations – Support program-related communications – Assist with programming and professional development activities for students – Engage alumni connected to the program – Collaborate with campus partners to support program goals REQUIREMENTS – Ability to live in New York City for the duration of the program period WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role plays an important part in ensuring that students have a supportive, well-organized, and enriching study away experience in a major global city.
