University of Idaho is seeking an International Transfer Specialist to work in their Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management division in Moscow. The position is full-time and the salary is $18.75 per hour or higher based on experience.

The main responsibilities of the International Transfer Specialist include serving as the primary representative for international evaluations, course articulations, articulation agreements, and transfer inquiries. They will also be the main point of contact for international transfer students, institution representatives, and UI staff/faculty who advise international transfer students. The specialist will review, evaluate, and process transfer credits for new, continuing, and returning students. They will provide technical assistance and act as a resource person for students, staff, and faculty in regard to international transfer credit, transcripts, and degree audits.

The minimum qualifications for the position include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a registrar’s office, transfer evaluation, admissions, or another enrollment management field. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and experience working with international credential evaluation or international institutions. They should also have experience reviewing international credentials or articulating international course materials. Knowledge of international transfer and admissions processes, as well as familiarity with student Banner software, is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in cross-cultural settings, are also desired.
