Job Opportunity Overview

The University of Bolton is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to become the International Student Support Team Leader. This role is pivotal in enhancing the overall experience of international students at the university. You will lead a team within the Student Services & Experience Directorate, with the primary goal of enriching the educational journey and personal development of international students. This position not only demands exceptional leadership and organizational skills but also a passion for nurturing a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the day-to-day operations of the International Student Support Team.
  • Develop and implement international pre-arrival and induction programs.
  • Manage complex student inquiries and improve international student support services.
  • Innovate ways to enhance the international student experience.
  • Oversee financial assistance programs for international students.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to identify and address student needs and challenges.
  • Maintain a student-focused approach, aligning services with stakeholder needs.
  • Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Champion, with training provided.
