Ravensbourne is seeking to expand its support team by hiring an International Student Support Officer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to international students, in collaboration with colleagues from the international team. The officer will facilitate engagement with international students throughout their time at Ravensbourne, starting from their induction until graduation. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the current student visa procedures and should be comfortable in a student-facing role, addressing inquiries both online and in person.

The officer will collaborate with the International Team, Recruitment, and the Student Union to create interactive events with various international societies. These events will be aimed at making new international students feel comfortable and supported during their tenure at Ravensbourne.

In addition, the officer will work with the wellbeing staff to assess students’ need for support and develop an understanding of the most suitable options for referral. They will also organize a series of engaging awareness events throughout the year.
