### Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished International Student Services Manager to lead immigration compliance, visa advice, and international student support teams. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring DMU meets its obligations as a Student Visa sponsor, while providing comprehensive support to international students and their dependants.

### Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and lead strategies for compliance with Student Route obligations, aligning university policies with statutory requirements.
– Oversee high-quality immigration advice and support services that focus on compliance and enhance the international student experience.
– Act as the main contact with UKVI, coordinating audits and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
– Lead the International Student Support team to deliver effective orientation, visa support, and student services.
– Stay updated on immigration laws, advising stakeholders on recruitment and retention strategies for international students.

### Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in immigration compliance in the higher education sector, with a thorough understanding of UKVI Student Route requirements. Strong leadership and organisational skills are essential to maintain compliance and enhance the international student experience. Experience managing cross-functional teams and expertise in training on compliance and data management will be valuable assets.
