About the Position
The International Student Recruitment Manager plays a crucial role in our International Student Operations team. They are responsible for developing and implementing marketing and recruitment strategies to meet or exceed student recruitment targets. This includes building relationships with key stakeholders, leading a team of recruitment staff, gathering market intelligence, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability
– Develop and implement an annual marketing and recruitment plan to achieve international student targets within budget.
– Build positive relationships with key areas across CIT and develop a strategic international student plan for the next 3 years.
– Lead and manage recruitment staff, focusing on lead generation, conversion, communication, and student experience.
– Gather and utilize market intelligence to monitor performance and identify trends in recruitment.
– Collaborate with external stakeholders, including education agents, to establish and manage partnerships.
– Identify and develop opportunities for transnational delivery and international student recruitment.
– Plan and execute international promotional recruitment opportunities.
– Undertake overseas and interstate travel on behalf of CIT/CIT Solutions.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience (Selection Criteria)
– Degree qualification in marketing, business development, or related field OR at least 2 years’ experience in marketing or business development.
– Proven experience in international student recruitment and managing marketing and recruitment plans.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and service mentality.
– Strong analytical skills and ability to use evidence-based approaches for strategy formulation.
– Proven leadership and management abilities.
– Track record of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
– Comprehensive knowledge of the VET sector, ESOS Act, and National Code of Practice.
Reporting Line
Reports to Senior Manager, International Student Operations. Manages the Officer, International Student Recruitment. Collaborates across CIT and CIT Solutions.
