Teesside University
As a result of recent investment in the University’s Department of International Development, Teesside University is advertising for an International Mobility Assistant to support the University’s growth ambitions and the achievement of the 2027 international strategy.
In recent years, Teesside’s international profile has gone from strength-to-strength, with the establishment of global strategic partnerships, growth in international student numbers, and the development of international student mobility programmes. These developments, combined with a sustained programme of investment in the University campus, our learning and teaching experience and student accommodation, make this a fantastic time to join us.
Reporting to the International Student Mobility Manager, the International Mobility Assistant will provide comprehensive, effective and efficient administration of the University ‘s International Student Mobility programmes. As a key point of contact for students and partners, the International Student Mobility Assistant will play an active role in the day-to-day operations of international student mobility activity and act as a point of contact for incoming and outgoing students, staff and partners.
With strong administrative skills and a keen interest in International Higher Education, this role lends itself well to someone who can work equally capably as an agile problem-solver and diligent planner with an eye for detail and an ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. As part of the wider international team, there are opportunities for career development and shaping this role to the benefit of the post-holder and the institution. Experience of working in an international context is an advantage but not an essential requirement for this position.
