The University of Surrey is seeking an International Research Development Officer, a pivotal role within the EU & International Research team, part of the Research, Innovation & Impact Directorate. In this role, you will support and enhance the management of research bids and activities by working collaboratively with the research community and other professional service team members.
About the Role
As an International Research Development Officer, your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with team members to support the research community.
- Utilizing collaborative approaches and proactive service delivery to enhance research bids and activities.
- Ensuring effective management and enhancement of research-related processes.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, along with adaptability and flexibility to manage changing workloads and priorities.
- Proficiency in IT, specifically with MS Office and Sharepoint, and a willingness to learn University-specific IT systems.
- While experience in bid development in academic environments is beneficial, it is not essential.
