### Job Opportunity: International Regional Manager (South Asia)

We are currently seeking an International Regional Manager (South Asia) to join us on a full-time, fixed-term basis covering maternity leave.

**The Role:**
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of International Business Development to implement the University’s international strategy, with a focus on South Asia (primarily India). Responsibilities include:

– Managing day-to-day operations and interactions with the India Regional Office, including marketing, new program proposals, and partner relationships.
– Conducting regular communications with the India Office and chairing weekly meetings via Microsoft Teams.
– Representing the University in key networks to identify and maximize opportunities and undertaking occasional overseas visits.
– Traveling between and working at various university campuses and potentially undertaking international travel.

This role requires exceptional people skills, communication prowess, and strong networking abilities.

**Requirements:**

*Essential:*
– Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
– Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
– Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships at all organizational levels and with various stakeholders.
– Demonstrable experience in international student recruitment.
– Proven experience in developing external relationships and stakeholder engagement.
– Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
– Knowledge of relevant immigration and UKVI regulations.
– Thorough understanding of international student recruitment and admissions in the UK HE landscape.

*Desirable:*
– Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in International Education.
– Proficiency in Welsh (both oral and written).
