This is a full-time position with a HEP 6 classification and a salary range of $82,372 – $89,161, plus 17% superannuation. The position requires working 36.75 hours per week and is a full-time continuing role. The work environment is collaborative, innovative, and supportive, and the position is located at the Footscray Park Campus.
The International Recruitment Officer will work closely with Regional Recruitment Manager(s) and the International Admissions team to implement the strategies outlined in country and college recruitment plans, as well as the operational plan for the team. The position also supports the activities of the Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions team, including assisting with admissions during peak times.
Successful applicants for this position should have a relevant degree or significant previous administrative experience in a related field. They should also have broad knowledge of the Australian education system and government policies affecting international students. Strong commitment to delivering high-quality client/customer service is essential, along with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate should also possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties of the International Recruitment Officer may include delivering excellent customer service to international students and visitors, processing student applications and payments, providing general information and factual advice to prospective international students, and liaising with other organizational units and staff to ensure smooth acceptance and enrollment for international students.
